Minto Retaining Wall
Our residential client in Minto engaged our services to construct a new retaining wall, necessitated by the deteriorating condition of their existing timber wall. This project presented a notable complexity due to the presence of a sewer line, requiring strict adherence to the zoning regulations stipulated by Sydney Water.
PROJECT DETAILS:
Following the demolition of the old retaining wall, we executed an extensive excavation, resulting in the removal of approximately 80 metric tonnes of soil. To ensure structural integrity, we poured concrete footings before proceeding to craft a sophisticated two-tiered retaining wall using premium sandstone logs. Additionally, we prepared the terrain for the installation of turf, followed by the laying of the turf itself.
Despite encountering supply delays for the sandstone blocks and navigating the timeframe for approvals from Sydney Water, our team successfully executed this project with remarkable efficiency. The outcome left our client thoroughly satisfied, garnering praise from their neighbours as well.
